KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Dr. Mariano Rocabado.

He is a doctor of physical therapy and dean of the faculty of rehabilitation sciences at the University of Andres Bello, Santiago, Chile.

In the academic field, he is a full professor at the University of Chile, Department of orthodontics, and full professor at the School of Physical Therapy, University of Andres Bello.

He is also a full Professor at the Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Masters program, and the Masters Program in Physiopathology of the Craniocervical, Craniomandibular and Facial Pain Program, University of Andres Bello.

Dr. German Ramirez.

A Certified Pediatric Dentist practicing in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. Author of the book Early Treatment of Malocclusions and many scientific publications in peer review journals. He is a well-recognized international speaker and co-chair of the course Sleep Disordered Breathing and Orthodontics at the Loma Linda University Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry Specialty programs.

Dr Aubé will mostly present cases to illustrate the pathological defects present in the TMJ’s that lead to occlusal misfit, malocclusion, facial asymmetry, airway restriction, muscle tension, headache, cervical misalignment and pain.

He will also show condylar cortical reformation cases after osteoarthritis and explain how it may be done.
Dr Alain Aubé graduated from the University of Montreal Dental Faculty in 1984. He immediately after underwent a tailored multi-disciplinary residency program, with special emphasis on full mouth prosthodontics and orthognathic surgery. After a few years of private practice he continued with the full curriculum at the Dawson Center.

From there he was introduced to Dr Mark Piper and followed his complete program on TMJ pathology.

In 2008, he founded the « Canadian Occlusion Institute », an institute dedicated to teaching: 1) TMJ pathologies from a medical/orthopedic standpoint 2) teaches diagnosis and treatment of occlusally related problems.

He is quickly being recognized in Quebec as the leading occlusion-TMJ expert, as he is being referred to by prosthodontists, orthodontists and oral surgeons, as well as general practitioners.

Dr Aubé maintains a full time private referral practice dedicated exclusively to TMJ and occlusal problems and continues to teach and lecture intensively.
